My ultimate weapon for competitions. Out of all the discs I have tried, this one I like the best. It fits nicely in your hand with no risk of slipping out and it feels great. Also, some people I met raved about how it is the best disc for windy conditions, because something and well something. I honestly couldn’t care less. However, if subscribe to the idea the tiny rim makes a difference in the wind, then good for you. It costs around 230$ depending on where you get it. Which might seem like a lot of money. Especially if you earn 500$ a month and blow 600 on booze. It’s also worth noting that it’s not the most durable disc, quite the opposite. I’ve been using it roughly for the last 5 years and I just bought my third one.

This is the boring brother of the Denfi Skymaster. It’s not as exciting but it won’t let you down. It’s also my number two pick for competitions. It’s a solid and hugely popular competition disc. According to my own unofficial statistics, which are based on "what I can vaguely remember", I don’t throw this one as far as the Denfi Jürgen Schult Skymaster but I feel I’m a bit more consistent. The distance difference is not huge but enough to make me think when competing. And finally, I think this one is a bit more resilient than its flashy sibling, the Denfi Jürgen Schult Skymaster.

This is the true hero of the working class! This magnificent discus will cost you around 60$ depending on where you buy it. It’s the best bang for your buck you’ll ever find in this sport. Despite the fact it costs just a little bit more then an average thrower`s lunch, it will be your loyal friend for years. You can throw it on grass, dirt. Sometimes I even manage to land it on a concrete and you wouldn`t find a noticeable scratch. It’s more resilient than a Nokia 3310. My oldest piece is currently celebrating three years and is still flying a dream. Some of the other discs I’ve tried would have crumbled to dust by now. I’ve got five of these beauties in my collection. One 2kg and four 1.75kg. Well, six actually, but I can’t remember who I lent the other 2kg one to. Lastly, as far as I know Simon Petersson threw his 70m PB with this one. And you can`t really argue with that.
